The Cherry Bean Gourmet Coffeehouse & Roastery is located in Salinas, CA in the heart of Oldtown Salinas. This is done with quite a limited palette of titanium white (gouache), zinc white (gouache), perylene maroon, quinacridone gold, burnt sienna (goauche), ultramarine blue (gouache), permanent yellow deep. This has been a staple in Salinas every since I was a kid, but I didn’t have the chance to visit until after I went to college. My peers in middle school used to talk about this place and I would long to go. I never made the effort to go or find out where it was. Cherry Bean is one block away from Rollicks Coffee, another good coffee place, which is one block away from a new Starbucks they just built! I swear Starbucks wants to be everywhere.
